Heat Pump Installation in Haverhill

Year-Round Comfort for Haverhill Properties

A properly selected heat pump can warm and cool a building through one efficient system. Morris Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning installs this equipment for residential and commercial properties across Haverhill, with options tailored to each building’s comfort needs.

We’re a certified Mass Save heat pump installer and a member of the Mass Save Heat Pump Leaders Network. These credentials allow homeowners to pursue available residential rebates or financing with a participating contractor.

Request an installation estimate in Haverhill by calling (978) 961-0338. We provide free estimates on new installations and offer flexible appointment scheduling.

What to Expect During Installation

Most installations are completed within one to two days. The schedule depends on the property’s size, the selected system, and the existing HVAC infrastructure. More complex configurations can require additional time.

Haverhill includes older housing stock and newer construction, so conditions vary by property. Existing ductwork, available equipment locations, and the building’s comfort demands all shape project planning. New England temperature extremes also make proper system selection important.

Costs vary for many of the same reasons. A ductless system may have different equipment and labor requirements than one that works with existing HVAC infrastructure. Our free estimate provides project-specific information before work begins.

2026 Mass Save Rebates & Financing

Eligible Massachusetts homeowners may have several rebate pathways for projects completed in 2026. Program amounts and eligibility depend on the equipment, system design, existing heating source, weatherization status, and household qualifications. Commercial installations aren’t covered by the residential incentive details below.

The primary 2026 residential rebate pathways include:

  • Whole-Home Heat Pump Rebate: $2,650 per ton, up to $8,500, when the new system becomes the home’s sole source of climate control and the property meets applicable weatherization requirements.
  • Partial-Home Heat Pump Rebate: $1,125 per ton, up to $8,500, with a possible $500 sizing bonus and $500 weatherization bonus under program requirements.
  • Basic Heat Pump Rebate: $250 per ton, up to $2,500, for eligible projects that don’t replace fossil-fuel or electric-resistance heating.

For these 2026 rebates, the system must use ENERGY STAR Cold Climate certified equipment and be installed by a participating contractor. Eligible work must be completed by December 31, 2026, and the rebate application must be submitted by February 28, 2027. Because requirements differ by pathway, homeowners should confirm the current terms for their project.

Enhanced Income-Based Rebates

Households meeting income requirements may be eligible for enhanced incentives, subject to weatherization and other program requirements. Rebates can reach up to $16,000 for air-source systems and up to $25,000 for ground-source systems. Eligibility and final incentive amounts depend on the household and proposed installation.

Mass Save HEAT Loan

The Mass Save HEAT Loan offers eligible homeowners 0% annual percentage rate financing of up to $25,000, with repayment terms of up to seven years. A Home Energy Assessment is required before loan approval. Financing remains subject to program requirements and lender approval.
